About

Lucie was born in The Netherlands (1999) in a Dutch/French family. She followed her training at the Havo/vwo voor Muziek en Dans at Codarts, University of the Arts in Rotterdam (2012-2017), where she performed works by i.a. Regina van Berkel, Ohad Naharin and Jens van Daele. Lucie trained Gyrotonic at Movement Re-training Center with Robert Hlatky in Rotterdam (2017-2020). She continued her studies at the Modern Theatre Dance department at the Amsterdam University of the Arts (2017-2021). Along her studies she has performed works by Amos Ben-Tal, Nicole Beutler, Serge Arthur Dodo, Ohad Naharin, Heather Ware and Liat Waysbort among others. During the season 2020-2021, Lucie was supposed to pursue her internship at Cullberg in Stockholm, Sweden which got cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Instead she worked with the Amsterdam based choreographer Keren Levi before joining Skånes Dansteater for the production Picnic in the Park - About a Blanket by Anette Jellne.

While studying in Amsterdam, Lucie has collaborated with other artists on interdisciplinary art projects and site specific projects.
